I am currently taking part in 28 Drawings Later’, a drawing challenge and social networking project on Facebook which invites artists of all abilities to submit a drawing a day during the month of February.
‘The result is an evolving, month-long, participatory online gallery which encourages everyone, artists and non-artists alike, to see what might happen if they made time to draw every day for a month’.

Having completed my updated, redesigned and hopefully more user friendly website I am starting on some new work in readiness for Helfa Gelf in September. Some of the new pieces have been posted on the Gallery page. Parc is shown above (top left)

My new painting of my daughter Phoebe entitled ‘ In the Mountains’ (top middle)is currently included in The Spring Show at Oriel Caffi Croesor. The exhibition has been extended until 14th July 2013 and is open on Saturdays and Sundays only (11am-5pm)

I recently visited the Hobby and craft fair in Birmingham. We were there to check out the Art Materials Live section. During the visit we came across the Derwent stand and were given the brochure for their new Artbars. Last year Derwent commissioned me to produce artwork using these new products and my piece inspired by Cwmorthin was used on the front cover. A quiet month spent settling in for the long Winter days. New work is being quietly seeded in my head. Meanwhile I watch and think.
